Welcome to Fine Press, a boutique stationery studio that specialises in wedding stationery, festoon lights & prop hire.

Fine Press is all about creating stunning wedding stationery & invitations to announce your event! In addition we offer beautiful festoon lights & hire items to help make your day extra special.
We are located in Wanganui, Manawatu.

Behind the scenes

Design graduate Kelly McKenzie runs the wee studio (established in 2011).  She draws inspiration from pretty paper, typography & natural textures. From assembling invitations to putting together photo backdrops, Kelly loves anything that involves getting creative.

Hire Period

The hire period is 3 days but this is negotiable.

Pick up & Returns

Items will be available for collection one or two days prior to the event by appointment only. Items must be returned within two days following the event. Items can be delivered and/or collected before and after your event for an additional fee.

Pricing & Payment

A 50% deposit is charged to secure your booking, with the balance paid two weeks before pick up. This is to be paid via bank transfer or cash. Our full price list is available on the website.

Bond

A bond of $50-$150 (depending on items hired) will be added to the total, this will be refunded via bank transfer once all items are returned in the same condition.

Cancellation

All cancellations must be made in writing. In the event of cancellation, your deposit will be refunded as follows; 30 days or more before event 100% of deposit, 8 to 29 days before event 50% of deposit, 7 to 0 days before event 0% of deposit.

Care

Please ensure all items are handled with care and repacked carefully as supplied. All packaging, bubble wrap and boxes need to be returned with your order. When using hire items outside please make sure they are protected from the weather.

Damage, Lost and Broken Items

Any breakages, damage or missing items (including packaging) will be deducted from the bond and calculated at the replacement cost as opposed to the hire price and there maybe an additional fee to pay if the replacement cost is more than the bond. The replacement value of our items is based on current retail value or the cost to remake/fix the broken item. If you discover a fault or breakage on delivery/arrival please inform us in writing immediately. Please ask if you need further clarification prior to hiring.

Responsibility

Fine Press takes no responsibility for any injury to any party through breakage of items or other accidents during the hire period. The client is responsible for all props from the time it is collected until it is returned.
